Three things are worth knowing. The rename changed nothing in the file: OM Digital Solutions kept the format when the brand became OM System, so decade-old advice about ORF still applies. In-camera looks are metadata: Art Filters and color modes travel as notes in the RAW, rendered faithfully only by the free OM Workspace — every third-party editor starts neutral. And High Res Shot files are a different beast: the multi-shot composite modes produce 50 or 80-megapixel ORFs several times the normal size, which older software handles poorly.
